With 3 AHDRA races, in as many months, behind us, we head into a VERY busy month of May.  First we will head to the Texas Motorplex, in Ennis, TX for the races the weekend of the 3rd and 4th.  After Texas, we will head home to get ready for the 4th Annual Cajun Coonass Blowout at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, Louisiana.  This is an event we will be hosting. Over the last 3 years this event has grown into something we are very proud of.  This event will not only have drag racing, bikes and cars, there will also be plenty of good food, music,  and FUN!  If you have never been out to No Problem Raceway, it is one of the Southeast's finest drag strips, come on out to the track and check it out.   After we recover from the weekend,  we will be headed East to  the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA for the Memorial Day weekend races on the 24th and 25th.  If you are in the area, come on out to one of these great events. What a weekend! Riding "Big Nasty", Randal had 3 great qualifying passes, one Friday, 7.148 sec. @ 192.17 MPH and 2 on Saturday, 6.850 sec @ 198.00 MPH and 6.671 sec @ 206.76 MPH. The last pass on Saturday was both the lowest E.T. and top speed, giving Randal the Top Qualifying position for Sundays Pro Fuel eliminations. Sunday Randal smoked the tire and went out in the 1st round against Rick Moore. Rocky's new Pro Drag bike arrived late on Friday, so he was able to make only one qualifying pass on Saturday. There were not enough bikes for a full field, and as Rocky qualified in the 9th position, did not make the elimination rounds on Sunday. However, Both Randal and Rocky made a few passes in the outlaw race. All in all it was a good weekend for Fas Coonass Racing. We would like to thank Willie Hershberger and Drag Masters Racing for feeding us a great dinner on Saturday night.  And congratulations to the BMC RACING TEAM on their Pro Fuel win .

We will kick off the 2008 AHDRA season  at Gainesville Raceway in Gainesville, FL. ,for 3 days of racing, on Feburary 29th March 1st and 2nd.  We will then head off to Speedworld Dragstrip in Whittman, AZ, March 29th and 30th for the 1st west coast appearance of the season.  If you  are out at the track please stop by the race trailer and say hi.
